KOGAA is now working on the adaptive reuse of the Nová Zbrojovka industrial heritage portfolio with CPI Property Group. One of the projects we are developing is the heat plant which used to be the technological and industrial heart of the Zbrojovka factory. The proposal embraces the transformation into the new use, while keeping the object as the center point of the district. With this in mind, the we have introduced the concept of HEA(R)T from the words HEAT and HEART. The design is integrating a blend of cultural, recreational and workspace functions with a high technological demand which are placed inside cubic volumes within the generous spaces of the plant. The disattachment between the new and the old structure creates grandiose inbetween spaces that allow the users the opportunity to immerse themselves in the original building.
