NOOX is a housing concept developed in response to the growing challenges of urban living and homeownership. Inspired by the idea of a “nook”— a small, comfortable space offering shelter and a sense of belonging— NOOX creates compact, thoughtfully designed living environments that feel immediately like home.
As cities become denser and housing prices continue to rise, NOOX offers an alternative to conventional housing models. Each apartment is fully equipped and ready for immediate move-in, providing a streamlined living experience without the long-term burdens typically associated with property ownership or large-scale rentals.
The design prioritizes functionality and spatial quality within a compact footprint. NOOX is intended for urban residents who value proximity to the city while maintaining privacy, comfort, and independence. The first prototype in Brno occupies a ground-floor setting, with each unit enjoying direct access to the street, strengthening the connection between private living and the surrounding neighborhood.
Whether for short-term stays or longer-term living, NOOX combines flexibility with a sense of community. The project reflects a broader shift in urban housing toward more efficient, adaptable, and accessible forms of living.
